Unfortunately, not gonna happen. Your's will be in "G", and mine will be on the field since I was in no way able to enter it in the "G" contest (it was not painted or assembled yet)xrian wrote:Hey Brian, our 2 cars would look awesome beside each other!!!
Wada you think?
Rigollet rally replica progress (renamed thread)
XR and Scorpio blower motor rebuilding, LED upgrades, XR lock service
Hmmm. I think Brad should get these 2 together somehow.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Hey, they're rally cars - perhaps what we could do is put both cars outside in front of Bldg G. Ian, you could still move yours indoors overnight if you wanted. Just a thought - get with me Friday some time when things are slower and we'll sort it out.xrian wrote:Hmmm. I think Brad should get these 2 together somehow.

Don't get too excited. I should be a little more detailed. Mine is kind of a replica. Just the paint job mainly, and only the stripes. Nothing else like the real rally car. It will have a full interior, A/C, etc. But feel free to gawk at it at the hotel.

Sure! With all the luxuries to boot. We can cruise with the windows up, A/C on, and stereo bumpin'. You could flip on the heated seats too, but that would be kinda stupid if you ask me.xrian wrote:Oh cumon. Then you can give me ride back & forth from the hotel

3 weeks before Carlisle, and I am DONE!!!! Well, at least until I think of other little stuff, which I will probably be doing in the hotel parking lot. But anyway, here's a peek!
Everything in here is BLACK. Last time it was black with some raven, but this time it is BLACK. There is no raven left in my car. Note all the Sierra Mk2 bits:
Steering wheel
Speedometer (170, because 150 just isn't enough)
Tachometer (I don't need no stinkin' redline!)
Fuel and temp gauges (Fuel gauge is very active, still working on that)
Speedo cluster surround (more rounded than the XR version)
Turn signal and light switches (Cruise moved to main switch)
Cowl cover
Clock
I also have Mustang Bullitt shifter knob and pedals
Some of you know i have illuminated Ford emblems, well now I have a dedicated switch for them. Also I moved the cruise control "set" function to this switch, no longer needing the button on the turn signal stalk
All arches in place, Mustang Bullitt gas lid.
