Here are my new wheels... same pictures as my project thread, but I figured I would contribute here as well. I'm not sure if they count as "killer," but I love the clean look of them.

They're Liquid Metal Static wheels through DiscountTireDirect. 16x7 38et mounted on 205/50/16's. They fit extremely well.

Stern Inter-touring
17x7 ET35
5x114.3/4x114.3 pattern

I painted them in this GM 'Goldstream' paint (from a Cadillac.) I'd rather have some lower offset wheels with a big lip...

i'm happy with my 12 mm offset 14" wheels and fat tires

Image

they give the car a 1960s transam race car look.

but the car's side profile is a bit pudgy

Image

and i think the traditional torque thrust wheels might better suit the car

Image

unfortunately it seems the bolt pattern/offset makes the torque thrust wheels an impossible dream. :dunno unless anyone can figure out how to make it happen???? :cheers

That looks killer. I had done something similar with my old 86'. I didnt use the same wheels I used A6 17x8's.
