Post pictures of your XR with aftermarket wheels you chose for your XR. Don't forget to add tire and wheelsize.

I need help picking out a new set if wheels for my XR. I ordered a set of 16x7.5 and they hit the strut, offset was way off. Back to the drawing board.

Show me what works on your XR

theres a huge thread about this on merkursport already, its worth checking out.
I got some 17x7 40ET wheels off craigslist, not sure what manufacturer. they fit just fine on a stock setup.

If you like the rims, go with (gulp) spacers. MC2 can supply the ARP studs.
We have an odd offset. Focus rims are usually too high an ofset, RWD too low.

17x7.5 Mullins (Australia) w/205-50 BFG KD (measure out at quite a bit larger than typical 205-50-17) Took a bit of work to get these in. Spring perch and fender lip mods required. These wheels will return with 235 and 215-40s.

TSW Hockenheim R 16x7.5 with 225-45-16. Offset isn't marked on these, they're Sierra specific. No centering rings. They really did their homework, NO issues with a stock suspension car. I'd never seen a 225 up front without mods before.

These are Ford Racing Cobra R's 17x8 cut down to a 21mm offset. Fronts are 225/45s and rears are 245/40s. They all rub a little over big bumps even with fenders rolled. Might go with 215 front and 225 rear next set.

Focus wheels are easy, 25mm spacers on the back, 15mm on the front.

Capri 6x13s only fit on the back. Now 7x13s are a different story...

The wheel and tire package is. Elbrus IO5 17x7.5 41MM offset, with 205 45-17 up front and 225-45-17 in the rear. Best thing is they don't rub
