I had to remove the FRS fuel pressure regulator(2.7bar) and the adj. after market one I bought to use. The FRS had too low OP pressure. The latter had to much pressure spread 1.3bar from vacuum(2.0-3.3)) to with out. Research showed me its got a 1.7ratio instead of 1.1 needed. End resolution was to install the stock and adj to 3bar with vac and 3.5 without...5bar spread

Wow!

What a stable!

What's the story on the Spitfire?
What's under the hood the you need to remove air from the rad in such beautifully crafted dramatic fashion?

I think I've seen your Focus build on Passionford. US to UK conversion?

New frame from motor mount rearward to clear Lakewood bell housing, 5 link rear suspension, toploader 4speed, narrowed 8" with Auburn unit

Front suspension modified using GT6/TR6 components, headers and side exhaust I made. Well all mods but the paint...did most between '84-86'....engine upgrade in '05 along with new input, main and cluster shaft in trans, new Auburn to diff, and added 3" to each side of diff assembly, went from 15x10 to 15x7 wheels

Got the doors back on, for couple months there was no glass, regulator, guides, trim or latches. Just what I needed to drive around. Later in Feb I refreshed the regulators, cleaned/re-greased, guides and rollers, locks/latches, removed old wrappings from harness and rewrapped, installed new oem felts around the inside perimeter of glass. Haven't bought the sound dampening mat yet that will darn the inside of doors, inner door panel and quarters panels. Plan on adding small fiberglass layer on the insides of plastic interior panels to reinforce them from future breakage.

I'm working with the idea of giving it the Sierra look, at least from a distance or as I blast by.

Going to be giving it some time to Love-it or Hate-it till I get ready to do finial paint. Considered gloss black to better blend in with reflective side glass.

Next time you step back and look at the side of you're XR, visualize the door glass flipped around, it is very close to the Sierra rear quarter glass, with some work the glass could be made to fit with in the quarter. If I could get the oem glass for it, it'd already be done. Still would have to deal with the trim, but I'm sure something could be found to suffice..
