Carlisle Picture Site Now Online

Post by webmaster »

The Carlisle picture site is now online and accessible by Clicking here

There are around 130 pictures in all and I have tried to capture the spirit of the show in three areas - the hotel, the showgrounds and the awards banquet. I have also tried to balance image size, quality and download time (you can't have all three!) so it should be possible for everyone to enjoy, including those of you on dial-up connections.

Inevitably I am sure I have mis-captioned or not captioned some images. Please send me any changes and I will update the information.

There are already a number of collections of Carlisle pictures out there. If you are hosting a photo collection, please email me the link, and I will link it in to this page.

Now it's time to turn to work on the Watkins Glen pages which I hope to have up in the next week.

Enjoy!

Cool - thanks for putting this together and many thanks for putting me in the middle of the Taryn twins and all the other lovely ladies (and the one real dog). 8)

I think I'm gonna wallpaper my house with this:

You know, with a projector and some patience, maybe a few helpful offspring, this could very easily be a mural on the wall of your garage...

Oh, and happy Father's Day, sir, and to the rest of you Dads! 8)

Admin, let me know if you would like some pics of the glen. I have a few on hand as well as a couple of lower res. AVI video clips.

2 questions that involved me...

1) Under the showfield. The engine bay that is nicely detailed, it ask "anyone know who owns this car?". That is mine.

2) Under the awards banquet. Jim McQueen is setting next to me. His name is listed as "???".

aww Wilky,...you look adorable between me and my twin.
Everyone always asked if I did have a twin. Well, I lied. Yes, I do!

Great POSTER! I am going to blow it up tomorrow at work, and hang it on my wall.
