We can tag team the drive out, and we'll flip a coin to see who drives away in the Vette.

My guess is that he's the one getting the last laugh. I figure it's gotta be a hoax message.

lol

You have to give him credit for ingenuity in use of existing power resources lol.. kinda like BMWs using that exhaust heat to power some small steam engines making use of the exhaust heat energy lost.. but somehow.. They got 5mpg and 15HP out of it too. I think that guy is missing a few other problems.

To continue this fantasy lol.. IF you could manage to cool the exhaust back down from 1200+ (lol) IC or something, (somewhere below 276deg, or better.. back down to ambient air temps... you could make use of the pressure... but you still have to get passed the combustive potential of gases still present in the exhaust.. to prevent knock and of course.. you'd have to inject oxygen (a crap load) into it after cooling to make combustion possible the "2nd" time.
LOL, dont laugh crazy ideas like this are what LEAD to the innovative things mankind has produced. Its kinda like an 100% EGR system, reburning ALL of it lol... It would be one of the cleanest burning internal combustion engines ever...

I'm probably going out on a limb by runnin with this guy a second but who cares, you guys know by now I dont 8)
You know thinking about it as long as you somehow kept this "2nd air intake" separate, which very well may require a second intake manifold and intricate cylinder head setup to mix and burn the air/fuel and still use the whole idea of pressure.

I dont know.. thats the limits of my imagination tonight lol..

That's right -- it's obviously designed to get a rise out of people. I'm not sure why (more) others aren't seeing this.

The amount of activity spawned by that thread shut down the site because the bandwidth had been exceeded for the month. There were nearly 300,000 views on that thread when I last saw it. I imagine the site manager wasn't too impressed that they couldn't use their forum anymore and made it so only registered users could access threads in an attempt to prevent the bandwidth from being exceeded in the future. Just a guess.
