It is an engine pic of 1989 Toyota Cressida. Looks like the bmw bosch one, which I believe is the big vam.

No.
There are lots of 80's era VAMs that look just like the XR one... but are not useable on an XR.

E30 325 BMW ones and E34 525 BMW are interchangeable with the stock XR vam.

E34 535 BMW, E24 635csi BMW, E32 735 are interchangeable with the big VAM (SVO / 87-88 Turbo Coupe)

Are you asking if the numbers are stamped into the black plastic part or what the part numbers are for the different models? I think they will have part numbers stamped into the plastic at the bosch factory. But maybe sometimes they use a sticker? But since there's this list it really doesn't matter just order one for a BMW or look for those certain cars at the pull it your own darn self yard. I'm not sure how Mike managed to cross reference these like he did but this makes it easy for us. :cheers

I remember seeing a list of the Bosch p/n for all the ones that cross. Was wondering if someone still had it.
