i feel bad for the guy who picked this lock on the jag and had to deal with the maintenance for the rest of his life.

Back "in the day" those locks were pretty good security. Better than what you would get with say a 1990 Prelude or Accord. Probably why Ford thought they would be perfect for locking up tools in their new contractor/work van. Of course the criminals will always learn new ways to defeat the locks. After watching a few videos from the LL it makes me realize just how minimal most locks security actually is.
