Hey guys, just thought iÃ‚Â´d drop by and say hello.

IÃ‚Â´m down in Brazil, 4 months into my mission, and having a good time. Having learned a new language and a whole lotta other stuff, i thought i oughta leave you all a message--merkur-related, even.

I sold my car before i left for $1000--the white merkur. however, the dork only paid me half and he has the car already. lives in washington, name is David.

anyway, hope allÃ‚Â´s well with the merkur community! good luck with everything! tchau!

iÃ‚Â´m in the state of SÃƒÂ£o Paulo--iÃ‚Â´ll be in this state for the entire mission. i spent 2 months in the city of SÃƒÂ£o Paulo, and now iÃ‚Â´m in a city called SÃƒÂ£o Carlos. it is very pretty--iÃ‚Â´ll put some pictures up next week.

surprisingly, iÃ‚Â´ve not seen a sierra yet-not old or new. iÃ‚Â´ve asked a couple people about them, but nobody has ever even heard of them. weird. the closest thing iÃ‚Â´ve seen is the Escort XR3 1.8... BOOOORRRING!!! haha. but i finally see what everyone was talking about when they said my car looked like an Escort on steroids. iÃ‚Â´ve seen several mondeos... the late 90Ã‚Â´s ones. those things are pretty ugly, lol!

as far as hot brazilian babes... i know they exist, but here in SÃƒÂ£o Carlos there is an INTENSE concentration of ugly people. Go figure. Next month iÃ‚Â´ll be in RibeirÃƒÂ£o Preto, still in the state of SÃƒÂ£o paulo.

anyway... itÃ‚Â´s christmas time and at least 100 degrees. this blows goats for pennies. however, at the same time, weÃ‚Â´re passing christmas with an awesome family. good stuff.

and itÃ‚Â´s tudo bem, but sounds like "too-doo bang." the language is a bit weird, for sure.

Hmm that's wierd,
Our boy over in Bolivia (Joe) is on his mission and doesn't come on the forums at all??(say's he's not really allowed??)

Ed, I would like to let you know I have met David. I have also met your white XR. In fact I was drag racing him when I popped the head gasket on my XR.

It is still in one piece, your car that is! As for mine it is not.
