No ants in our room, but plenty of cobwebs and a flat-out nasty ceiling with water stains I swear were left there before I was born. Oh yeah, and our housekeeper left our door open after doing our room on Saturday. Came back from the show field and the door was actually open a little! Yikes!

Eh, but I hate to complain because it was still a great weekend and I had a wonderful time...and in the end that's what matters most!

Had ants in my room as well as a few other creepy crawlies.
They actually had a list of room numbers with ants when I checked out.
Hotel will probably will reserve those room for us next year. :)

Too bad it's not like a restaurant where if you find a bug in your dinner, it's free. We could hand out ants in the parking lot!

Room open

Post by phild765 »

I had the room door left open Saturday evening also, they have us by the short hairs in the Carlisle area. No better local choices.
I liked my downlow approach to the weekend, low stress, little work just fun!

There is a decent hotel in downtown Carlisle that I'd love to stay at. The challenge is parking. It would be in a municipal parking garage adjoining the hotel, and I just don't think that would go over well with our crowd. Just thinking out loud too, given that it's NOT private property, the authorities could more readily enforce the open container law. They've been over-stepping their authority when they've tried to do that on the hotel property.
