Parts to Buy/Sell/Deliver at Carlisle

Post by DPDISXR4Ti »

It seems to me that we don't do enough buy/sell/bartering of parts at Carlisle. For big and heavy stuff in particular, a hand-off at Carlisle makes a lot of sense rather than shipping.

I'll kick this thread off with a couple things I can deliver:

Complete aluminum 8.8 differential for DG conversion w/ inner tri-pod joints $175
Cleaned, rebuilt and painted (blue) Mustang/T-Bird Calipers for "big brake" upgrade $75/pair

Stuff to Deliever at Carlisle

Post by phild765 »

I may offer to deliever at Carlisle the Euro Sierra bumpers. Will have to finalize the prices and gauge interest afterwards. They will be for pickup at my vendor booth.

I am interested in getting a set of Euro headlights for my Scorpio. If anyone has a used pair that they'd be willing to part with for a reasonable sum of money I would be very keen on purchasing them.

I'm also looking for the following, if anyone has these:

-Cowl cover (leaf guard)
-RS Cosworth (Scorpio) taillights
-Front ash tray
-Moonroof shade
-Rear seat switch

Thanks! See you all in Carlisle!

Every year about 1-2 weeks before Carlisle I start getting phone calls and emails asking me to bring parts and seems I never have any room left for "extras". I have a bunch of pre-paid and/or pre-spoken for parts piled high. This year I even had to beg for space in friends vehicles (thanks Bob Saff!).

I'm thinking one year I should just bring a box truck and set up shop in the parking lot

I've got a NIB plastic quadrant and pawl for an XR, as well as a Godfrey manual clutch adjuster. I'll let it all go for $100. Never been used.

Small, shippable stuff... but I'll bring it along with me anyway. Gotta recoup some lodging costs. :)

Colin, i'll take the manual adjuster from ya. I was going to buy one anyhow from Dave, but if you dont need it count me in. Let me know if you want to paypal now or cash in hand at Carlisle.

I am also looking for a front seat "tilt lock lever knob" in brown for an XR4Ti.
This is the small knob on the side of the front seats that you lift up when letting the kids climb in the back seat, well for us family guys anyhow.

Let me know if anyone has one of these kicking around that you want to get rid of.

I'm jumping on the Carlisle parts-sale-a-thon bandwagon, too.
Setting up shop in the hotel parking lot, if it rains, setting up shop in the hotel room. First come first served.
...but offering some good prices to ensure I don't have to take anything back home with me.

Sierra Cosworth Glass headlights (Lucas brand) - $200 / pr. One to two sets available.
Sierra Cosworth Grille (Rapido repro) Painted diamond white - $150
Possibly a mint bi-wing freshly painted Nimbus Grey - $100
Misc other stuff, too - depends on how much I can fit in the car.

Drop me an email for me cell # if you want to get first in line to look at the stuff.

Here's a pic of the grille and one of the sets of lights:
