A team of judges led by Jim Gosses gave up their time on Saturday to walk the show-field seeking out noteworthy Merkurs and meeting their owners. The quality of innovative and well turned out cars is amazing and this year their job was especially hard.

Below are listed the award winners that received their awards during a ceremony at the Carlisle Awards reception held at the Radisson, Camp Hill.

Special thanks go out to the judges and to all the award winners for a spectacular showing of Merkurs.

Merkur Innovation Awards: Dimitri Wittal & Sean Hansen

Merkur Preservation Awards: Jack Middleton & David Baylor

Freundschaft entlang der straBe (Friendship along the road): Peter Orlinski & Joe Smith

Thank Jim and the rest for helping out on Saturday! I know you all always enjoy helping, but thanks for the extra effort in running the operation this year!
Congratulations to all the winners this year!!
I was there for a very short time and saw way too many cool cars!

Did Carlisle do away with the largest club award this year? I did not see anything listed here or on their website on the winners list pdf.
Did they get tired of us winning every year finally?

Absolutely not! We won it again by four cars at 85. The Bad Mustang or Bad Pony club came second with 81 and the Fairlane at 63.

Next year we are going to blow them away!
