Still a little more than a week to go until the end of the Carlisle diff mount contest. I have to say, the entries that I've seen posted here and on our Facebook page have been superb. It's not going to be easy to make a choice, so this may end up quite random. Gotta say I love Scott's post though.

Because...Confucius Grayson say personal fitness programs strengthen body's core; MC2Racing diff mount program strengthens key Merkur core muscle, raising ability to perform above showroom potential.

... Cuz its so gol darn purdy ahma gonna mount it on my hood; Y'all move on over and make room for a MC2Racing-equipped Marecoor now, Ram 1500 driver!

Because... a Whiptastic handling, Ginsu knife-sharp corner carving Merkur rolls only with an Mc2Racing diff mount.

Because...a taut Merk butt is an MC2Racing diff mount-installed butt.

Because...an installed MC2Racing diff mount turns an ordinary ride into a "Merkur by MC2Racing" (which would make a great window decal, no?)

Because...there's no cure for Merk negative rear wheels camber like an MC2Racing diff mount.

Because...every Merkur driver should fully experience G(rayson)-forces to the max by rolling with an MC2Racing G(rayson) Spot enhancing diff mount.

Because...that beautiful blue gem will make the perfect main drawer pull when I mount it on my 75" wide International 15 drawer tool chest!

Because an MC2Racing diff mount transforms your cone-squashing amateur ride into a cone-caressing professional expert.

YMMV ;-)

I hope those that are going take tons of pictures and post them for us that could not make it this year.

...and the winner is...from the MCA forum and not the mc²racing Facebook page...

MercMike!

Though his submission was certainly the most graceful submission, it did not seal the win. Everyone had an equal chance, and MercMike's entry was selected by having the highest randomly-generated value.

So, a week and a half after the festivities at Carlisle came to a close, we're still having fun. To my knowledge Brad hasn't hoarded away any 2014 giveaway items, so to win some free mc²racing products you'll have to be at the Hotel Saturday night at next year's 30th-anniversary Merkurs at Carlisle meet.

We didn't quite have the blue car ready to race in time for Carlisle, but it's going to be tearing up the Carlisle autocross course in all its C Prepared glory next year. So, don't just bring your car, but be sure to sign up for the autocross so that you too can join in the fun! Nothing beats watching dozens of XRs dominating the autocross while the hordes of poseur Mustangs can't find their way off of the showfield. We need to destroy some STs now, too.

Well Folks,
It looks like I have a commitment to keep.
As I am already equipped with a tight rear end.

Do I put it on Ed's hood ?
