MODEL A W/cosworth engine

Post by lucassXR »

I searched this and didn't see it on here so I figured I would post it. I figured people on here could appriciate this.

Here is the link for the build up pictures
http://www.mat.fi/project1929fordmodel-a.htm

Here is the video of it in action
http://youtube.com/watch?v=iFSGSL3Nrmc

You have to go through the pictures to fully grasp the extent of the build up on this. The newer engine used is modified to resemble the original engine only with modern performance. Pretty damn sweet if you ask me.

I'm moving to Finland.

Every one of those 196 pictures is worth waiting for.

I used to love the idea of a rusty rat rod....never again...this would be WAY more fun!

I work at Antique Auto Ranch in Spokane, Wa. I probably work on 30-40 Model A's a year, it sure would be a treat to play with that one!

Wow, I loved the YouTube comment "I would fall out of my car laughing if I saw that ripping down the street." mostly because I fell off my chair laughing after the video turns to color and you realize just how ridiculous this vintage car w/driver in vintage clothes must look like ripping around backroads at over 100 MPH :)

Beyond that comment I'm speachless...
HY35w, FMIC & BOV, 3" exhaust, 75#/hr, 255lph, MegaSquirt-I V3 w/3bar, T5, 4-point roll bar, rear strut brace, gutted, lexan windows and sunroof, Odyssey PC680, Koni + Ground Control (7" 250#/in) front, KYB (8.5" 600#/in) rear, TC rear brakes

could you imagine how pissed the average corvette owner would be when he gets spanked off the line by that thing?
