So, my friends and I are cruising from here(havre, MT) to Tillamook, OR, then turning left on highway 101. We are then essentially cruising on the 101 until it gets warm and we can swim in the ocean and then coming back. We are planning to go no farther than Los Angeles. We are doing this in my friend Jason's 66 VW beetle convertible. We are hopefully leaving very early on Monday. Here is our tentative trip plans

here's some pictures of the beetle. and no, the top will not be going up unless absolutely necessary.

Years ago, I planned out a business trip so I did a training session in LA on a Friday and then the same gig in San Fran on Monday. Took the 101 up the coast - the only regret was that the rental was an Escort.

I also managed to time it so that I was in San Fran Sunday morning for the Bay to Breakers race - still have that t-shirt, some 19 years later - yikes!

that is dylan, he is what you call "man pretty". All the drunk chicks love him. but that seems to be about it lol.
