[Altough it was cold and rainy, I had a lot of fun this year. Starting from the Friday morning convoy, I met a lot of ... interesting people. Wilky and Ben- I learned a lot about Canada...like they have Will and Grace there! Drinking Friday night and Saturday (the entire day) was a blast. Damn Canadian kept falling asleep in my friend's bed! Oh- and nice little bouncy icon girl you got there Ben! Thanks Mark for telling me about Jeremy, that he had a bunch of beer. I went around the entire lot asking everyone if they were Jeremy. BTW - thanks Jeremy for the alcohol! It was nice meeting you Erik- your wife is absolutely gorgeous.
Well, I hope to see a lot of you again at Mike's summer gathering - I'll be barbecuing. Do they have BBQ's in Canada?! :) ...and ofcourse there'll be drinks there too...
-Jennifer (which you all probably know me as Mike Oyler's girlfriend)]
Still makin' fun of me eh? I had a great time even though the weather was bad. It was nice meeting everyone BTW. Mike and his gang, Bob and John, I especially enjoyed spending the weekend with you nice people. Simon, thanks for showing us some nice roads ;) Brian, the fudge was excellent. Erik, was that fastmaul you brought to carlisle?. John, hope you and your XR survive those hot temperatures, It was good meeting you.

I hope Wilky and I do attend the Columbus, Ohio meet because i'm sure we'd have more time to 'shoot the $#!*' ! Hopefully this time I dont pass out in someone's bed. Or hopefully I do?

Yes that was the once Proud and Mighty Fastmaul, It was going to see it's untimely end (Taryn's High Power XR being built, and my other special project still in the works) I didn't want another big hp car as a daily driver so I took everything out and sold it, and was going to sell the car and buy something new/er/ish for daily driving. Well me and Taryn walked by it and she said, why don't we just return it to stock, and keep it! So with that, her mint engine from her super mint stock XR went into Fastmaul. I though it was cool that it's stock now well, mostly... I still have the 3inch exhaust, and k&N airfilter, cossie sway bars front and rear, Avo coilovers, powerflex everywhere. The only thing changing is going to be the AVO's are going into Taryn's car with the bigger sway bars. My other project like I said is still on hold. I know fastmaul loves to speed cause Taryn drives that car "Hard!!" So he's looked at me and said "Pump me up!" I have been holding out and didn't want to do it, but I think I just might give him some more Horses

There's a lot to be said for the basic bolt-on wake-up call. Make him think he's an SVO or a TC in a better body, and he'll be happy, and so will you!

John You were right, and when your right, your...right! I got used to the standard power rather quickly(so did Taryn I can tell by the way she drives the car!! Squeezing out every HP avaiable! )

So for Carlisle next year we will be going with 3 cars, 2 monsters and the Proud Fastmaul(NOT in standard form!)

Sounds like you'll be needing a driver for that 3rd car.

BTW, Ben, thanks for your kind remarks, and let me tell you, you and your dad are wonderful people, and I am exceedingly glad to have met you both. I wish my son had had better luck with his XR, perhaps he'd not be selling it. I'm busy putting a used motor off an '86 in it for him so he can sell it as a running car... and perhaps as something a father and son can do together before the son goes off to Seattle to seek his fortune... :?
