i bought one of my xrs out of boise i used to date a girl up there who also had 2 xrs i got my dd back running so maybe i will get it up there mid april and try to get together with as many merks as possible. would be fun and im sure if you see others you would not lose your enthusiasm for a passion. kyle

I would be in for a meet some place in idaho. Give me enough time and my brother and I would rally on down. Always nice to shoot the breeze with other merk heads, mabey get some fresh ideas.

my girl suggested maybe a meet in boise and a run up to mcall from there...its an awesome drive. maybe we will try to get it worked out for this summer it would be cool to have a few cars together.

you know after doing a little research if we met up close to Pendleton Oregon it would give ALOT of people a chance to get into this meet up. that is just about half way between Spokane and twin falls. merks could come from billings, Portland, Seattle and any that are closer. might have to see if there is a show some where close to that location this summer or just a get together.

Besides, gas ain't getting any cheaper. As much as I appreciate a fellow Merk enthusiast, I'm not completely willing to drive 150+ miles out of my way just to meet them face-to-face. The interwebs are a miraculous thing that allow us distant friends, with common interests, to share info and experience without the expense in transportation.

I do understand the problem with gas prices and the reliability of our cars. Would not be for a few months witch is enough time to save a little coin. No worries if your not interested, ill just keep hoping that more will be. And hell if nothing comes of this mabey I will make a trip closer to seattle area or longview.

You have no idea of the hassle You get entering the USA..... Passport, Urine and stool samples, who Your last 4 sexual partners were, random drug and steroid testings, then there's the strip searches.....
