I'd go down to Ennis to meet some folks. Not too bad of a drive from Dallas or Fort Worth....or even Houston for that matter.

Bought one of Don Battle's XR's (the red 1989) the head gasket blew on it, currently looking to swap another (2.3L) motor in that I got from Don with the car. Anyone still in the DFW area? I'd love to meet up sometime and say hello.

Sometime in the future, I'm in no rush to make plans as there's a lot of work (For me at least) before this XR is back on the road and I'd like to take it to any meet-ups. Keep in touch, we'll plan something!

I'm located in Waco, so if there was a meet-up in dallas/austin/houston, I would probably try to make it.

Hey guys, I'm down in Austin, TX. Just got my 87' back on the road after sitting for 10yrs. Still have a lot on the to do list, and it would be great to meet some other XR enthusiasts in the area.
