1989 XR4ti modified - for sale - Indianapolis

I've had multiple XRs since my first in 1997. This one was formerly Dr. Steve Frank (Philadelphia) who sadly passed this life back in 2001. I was pleased to acquire his car and keep it in the Merkur family. I have added to the mods he had begun and taken very good care of it. It has a recent paint job and remains a real head-turner and conversation-starter. Though an '89, it has a bi-wing on it. I've taken it to several road course lapping day events and it feels at home on a track.
I've run out of garage space for my humble but growing auto collection, I don't need two XRs and my track hobby is giving way to a lawn chair at local car shows. I remember Steve Frank and that car. I believe it originally had a diamond shaped grill. Looks like you've taken great care of it.

Yes, Scott . . Steve had a stock grill cut out for added air flow and called it a Navaho Indiana pattern . . I still have the grill.
