Drivetrain rumbling left turns only

Post by Andy82GT »

Originally low pitched rumble sound seemed to come from right rear, during left turns only. Replaced right rear bearings (looked bad) and CV axle, and seemed to have fixed for a while. Rumbling is back, but seems to come from rear center now, and can feel vibration in the e-brake handle.
No noise or vibration driving straight or turning right, even hard rights. A4LD with stock DS, new guibo, stock diff, rear discs. Good rear tire clearance. Any ideas?

Rust on caliper outside of where brake pad had rested while parked causing brake pads to rumble over rusty sections?

YMMV

Possibly a damaged tire?

Thanks for the good suggestions... Tires look good (Conti Extreme Contact with low miles). Brakes look good. Maybe an alignment issue???
