I noticed an auction going on at Bring a Trailer site. Looks very clean. 71,000 miles https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1989-merkur-xr4ti-4/ Not mine.

Been looking for a Cosworth or SVO broom handle. No luck so far.

Cosmetics are pretty darn good. Unknowns lurk elsewhere.
Could be a cheap deal for someone willing to address those things.

$5100... not too bad a price received for a automatic XR with some excuses.

Look at that date code though! 12X6 (December X6th). Could be a 0, could be a 2. If it is 1226, then this could be the LAST XR4Ti's to roll off the production line. Also that the color is likely Radiant Red? (89 only color). Would need to see the door sticker to know for certain on both counts.
