What a crazy world we live in. This car has certainly led a charmed existence. It could easily be in a junkyard somewhere, or more likely, be crushed. Good luck with her. She is a good car!

No doubt this is a VERY good car. Darren, did you do anything to get the rear camber "right"? I checked it yesterday and both rear wheels were right at 1-degree negative, not the usual 2+ negative that likes to eat up tires.
Also, did you note how much more the right-rear side is sun-damaged vs. the left? Even the right side center reflector on the hatch shows sun damage, but only on the right. I would imagine wherever it was sitting in Texas for so long, it was shaded on the left, but not the right.

AS far as the Camber, I don't think so. I did replace the rear differential out of the parts car because the original one was howling. I only replaced the shocks in the rear, along with both CV joints. I never did anything further.
As far as the sun damage. I think it sat for at least 10 years. I think the original owner must have passed away and it stayed in one place for a long time. I found out about the car from someone who posted to this forum saying his neighbor had abandoned the car when they bailed out of their house. It wasn't running and the cops were going to have it towed. I wonder if the neighbor was a relative of the original owner and acquired it somehow. The only issue with the car was the P.I.P. had died. She has run like a champ ever since.

I'd guess Bart dialed in the rear camber - especially if he put new tires on it. He has a penchant for everything to be "right".
