Deutsche Classic Saturday July 14th, 2018

Post by brokencase »

I could not make it last year but I found out from my VW friend that there were several Merkurs present, I presume this was a result of my post of the prior year when I did attend.

Let's try again this year and make a good showing.. Maybe we can convince them to open up a Merkur category instead of getting thrown into the "Orphan" group. I don't know about you - but I hate competing with a Trebant.

So when you pull in, ask them where the Merkur group is. Bitch if they don't know what you are talking about. Tell em you got a whole club coming!

I will be there!

Borrowed from your post last year: https://www.deutscheclassic.com/

It's at the Oley, PA Fairgrounds.

Thanks for posting this.

It was a nice event this year. Saul & I showed up with Scorpios. Still only in the orphan category.
But it was nice weather and a good turn out of all the other makes.

Interesting rare car was there... 1985 Bitter SC. Owner gave a very in depth history on the car.
