What year? I think the condenser and dryer for the 85s is slightly different than the rest FYI

88 Mono-white XR: Side exhaust, Walbro, MC2 Front Adjustable Coilovers, Rear Bilsteins, Full Poly bushings, MC2 Diff Mount, Rapido intercooler, Some sort of mild cam(?), Rear Disc conversion, 225s on 17x8 wheels.

Kalamazoo, MI. I was half serious because i know you're kind of far away but i don't need AC in my car and if i can delete it without having to do the work myself, that would be fantastic, haha.

I wouldn’t think that Duracool would do anything bad, we would have heard about it before now in the age of interwebbiness. The leak is where the U-tubes come out, lots of surface area to leak through. You can see the oil tracer, at least it was easy to diagnose.

If/when I replace my condenser, I will go to an aftermarket, dual-pass, shorter unit that will be new, more efficient, and allow the FMIC to be both unobstructed, and mounted farther forward, which will give more clearance for the piping and such, like one of these from this Phoenix-based company:
