Hello: I would like to know if anyone has or know where to get a vss sensor for a Scorpio automatic. The transmission output speed sensor with 3 wires.

VSS = Very difficult to find

The original speed sensor design is prone to failure.
A somewhat recent discussion of the Vss options are described here...

On page two of that discussion I describe how to adapt the reluctor based speed sensor from the Ranger...
I used STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS SC46 & STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS HP4475 from RockAuto.
You will need electronics skills or know someone capable to pull it off. All info needed to recreate the adapter circuit is described in that link.
I would make these adapters available but the demand is something like 1 unit every 2 years. Not worth my time.
