I'm up in Dallas, but I head down to Austin relatively often. Merkur needs a bit more love before she can make that drive though.

Duncan, OK here. About 30 miles north of the Red River. Just got my '87 going after sitting for (yikes!) 20 years.

I used to live in Lakeway, had a white 89 back in 2001, and then my '86 Rapido in Pflugerville in 2014. I've now moved to the Odessa/Midland area, help me GOD lol...

I currently still have the 86 Rapido and now have an 89 automatic as well. Rosso Red / Radiant Red.

Can you put up some pics of the Rapido? That would be cool.

God, I wish I could easily upload pics to forums, I put a set of 12 pics on the facebook group, but I don't think I've done it here yet. Let me see about getting an account for uploading pics to a site so I can link them.

Car only has 46k and looks just about new. Has all the stage 2 goodies and some pretty rare work-style wheels, similar to the Ronal Turbos. It won a few awards at Carlisle, although that was before I bought it. I never went unfortunately. :(

It would be cool if you could make that rapido panel between the taillights. Couldn't be all that hard to manufacture.
