Carlisle Hotel - Radisson

Post by DPDISXR4Ti »

The Carlisle Ford Nationals will fall on June 4-6, 2021, so get the date on your calendar now. Once again, we will be returning to the Radisson Harrisburg (actually located in Camp Hill PA) as our base of operations. Our discounted room rate is $112 for a Single or Double bed room. This year I've blocked out mostly double-bed rooms as that provides the best rooming flexibility.

To book a room at the group rate, you must specify that you are with the Merkur Club of America using the promotional code "Merkur". Reservations can be called in using either of the following numbers:
1.717.763.7117 Hotel
1.800.333.3333 World-wide Reservations

Alternatively, this link should populate the required fields:
https://www.radissonhotels.com/en-us/bo ... ode=Merkur
If that doesn't work, just go to the main Radisson reservation site and enter "MERKUR" in the "Promotional code" field under the "Special Rates" pull-down.

Here's the link:

For a Thursday night arrival, Sunday morning departure, you'd want to make a 3-night reservation of June 3, June 4, and June 5 (departing Sunday morning, June 6). You may arrive a day early or stay a day late at the group rate. Of course, you can stay for two or even just one night, should you so desire. If for any reason you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so at no charge before June 2.

2021 marks the "Covid Do-over" of the 35th anniversary of the Merkur brand and the 50th anniversary of the Capri in America so we expect a big turn-out of both Capri and Merkur owners. As such, you should make your reservation early. Two years ago we ran out of rooms and some folks needed to stay an alternate properties. That's a bit of a buzz-kill for everyone. As most of you know, Carlisle just isn't Carlisle unless you hang out at the hotel, so if you plan to be there (and why wouldn't you?), make your reservation now.

If you're thinking about attending Carlisle, you'll need to make your hotel reservation sooner rather than later this year. We have "competition" from the Venom Outlaws club who will also be staying at the Radisson, and we don't need them grabbing our rooms out from under us! Make your reservation now or you'll risk sleeping in your car for the weekend!

Already done Brad. We should probably make that announcement on the FB page that things will be different this year.

I just spoke to the Radisson and they are very nearly sold out. If you want a room, you need to call now!
