Hi all,

IIRC they all were for racing in South Africa and these are left over models. With it proven that the V8 fit and worked well, Ford should have pitched the 'overheat everything under the hood' turbo and used the 302 here. Sales surely would have been better as the performance certainly would have been. The weight differences/suspension changes could have been fixed since the US Ford division had lots of practice working with small block V8 motors in all sorts of vehicles. Given the year of the vehicles it would be possible to import one as they are over 25 years back..

Just an opinion.
