We all have this problem with the current LED headlights.
If you look at a current model pickup truck driving in traffic with you the tailgate top edge is as high as our heads or higher when standing up. This means that the headlights are as high or higher than our eyes when we are driving and sitting down.
Older headlights have a sharp cutoff in the bulb design to keep light out of your eyes while meeting other cars. With the lights as high as they are now we are lower than the cut off if there even is one. Since LED technology has developed enough to make them as bright as possible we are now having this problem. This needs fixing but the question is when will anyone actually do something about it? Soon would be good. We should not hold our breath while waiting for a change.
