Merkurs at Carlisle 2024 was the largest turn-out of Merkurs and their owners that we've had in several years. Now our attention quickly turns to Merkurs at Carlisle 2025, the 40th anniversary of the marque. Whether you attended or not, please provide feedback.

1. Did you attend Carlisle this year? Do you plan to attend in 2025?

2. Overall, using your own criteria, how did you feel this year's Carlisle event compared to previous years?

Here is my input:

1. Did you attend Carlisle this year? Do you plan to attend in 2025? yes

2. Overall, using your own criteria, how did you feel this year's Carlisle event compared to previous years?

A - Better than usual
The weather was a big factor. Both at the showfield and at the hotel. I also liked the location on the showfield better and the fact all the XRs were in one line/aisle.

3. How did you feel about the Penn Harris Hotel this year? What could be changed/improved?
Changed for the worse. Hotel service issues that were never resolved. You can tell they are trying and the outside area had been cleaned up and refurbished. The car wash hose, bucket and cloths were all nice and working well. They need to work harder to ensure only Merkur drivers are assigned to the drive-up rooms. Also to maximize the number of drive-up rooms. It seems that the two on the right hand end are now storage.

4. What did you think of the Get Smok'd Food Truck food?
Very good - and I'm not a fan of BBQ. The line moved quickly and food options good.

5. How did you like this year's t-shirt? Any suggestions for next year?
Great shirt but a lot of us have so many! Would like to see something different for the 40th anniversary year

6. Any input on the MCA car judging?
It went smoothly and the judges picked out some great cars!

7. Any suggestions for a 2025 theme?
Let's all party like it's 1985!

8. Any particular guests or invitational cars you'd like to see at Carlisle in 2025?
It'd be great if we can get one of the MAC Tools race cars back again and the RS4Ti generated a lot of interest. We need at least one stock(ish) 1985 XR on the showfield.

Great job - looking forward to next year already. We need to play this one up and use social media to the max!

Sadly due to other responsibilities I could not attend this year. It is my understanding the turnout was good and I am curious to know how many Scorpios showed up. Looking forward to seeing West's photos.

Best turn-out in several years, and that goes for Scorpios too! Next year - the 40th anniversary year - will not be the year to miss - put June 5-8 2025 on your calendar now!
