The reason you see an ebay item for $999 (for low cost item) is they are sold out. The seller doesn't want to delete the listing. They make the price really high as a way to save time. If they come across another one they change the price, which is much faster than making a new listing with pages and pages of compatible vehicles. Also one could argue all of us are complete idiots since we don't just drive a Toyota Camry.
The car will be finished soon.

I know - I was just being facetious with Ed.

Toyota Camry? ...and be just like everyone else? I once dreamed I could be like everyone else.

I copied that post ^^ to underline that the poster wanted new (first choice) rounded coolant reservoir mounted near the shock tower which came to the U.S. only on the 1989 Merkur Scorpio.

Only one of our three vendors had/has a new/unused such reservoir. Anyone dissatisfied with that vendor's price should have immediately determined to look elsewhere within their own domain instead of criticizing our vendor and its pricing, which is offensive and gauche (graceless, tactless, etc.).

YMMV

Ed, nobody cares. Like I said. If you think it is so valuable then buy it and flip for a profit. Good luck with that.

Outside of that I think you should just end this meaningless banter.
