I tried this, but didn't have much luck. When I added to cart, it just had the same cost with shipping. I didn't see any special links or anything like that.

The special price mark downs happened over the course of 4 days. They weren't "instant" markdowns.
You just needed to have the items hanging out in your cart or watch list, then when that particular part went on sale you would get a notification and see the special price.
