Killed a BMW 2.5L 190hp (325 or 525)

Post by JasonKnight »

The following story was stupid and should never be done under any sircumstance (spelling). Person who did this was already smacked in the head by his girlfriend. (thats the deadly part :-P)

Well, I was on my home from work, and this BMW came out of no where just flying down the road, well, it turned into one lane as soon as BMW got behind me, so he was stuck behind me the whole way home doing 45, HAHA pissed him off, anyway, He was up my ass the whole time... Then it turned into 2 lanes again he flys by me only to be stuck behind a truck going slower. One lane again... Next comes a 2 lane again, I fly by him this time before he could get over, then it turns into one lane again, he still stuck behind the truck.

Anyway, it comes to a 2 lane again and thank god that it was a red light... I wanted to prove that my car could woop a BMW (prove to myself) Anyway, I was already stocked and waiting, and he was rooling... He had a roling start, and I started from a dead stop. Right off the bat I let my clutch go too soon and I left a nice dark mark, he for about a half car lenght in front of me then I got into 2nd gear and started pulling hard. (turbo was only set to 13psi) I passed him by the end of 2nd gear. put it into 3rd and I started flying by him even more. I was about 1.5 car lenghts in front of him before I let off the gas. He started catching up, I let him get on my ass aain cause he was mad I beat him and he thought I was maxing it. So i floored it again and put it into 5th and let him in the dust.

Ohh it was so awsome. Wont do it again... Too deadly on the roads... and I dont need a ticket...

I've raced a good number of cars. I haven't raced anyone recently, as I've been having some problems, but since I installed my LA3 I haven't lost a race. My spank list includes:

'02 Mustang GT
1.8T Audi A4
Grand Prix GTP
Turbocharged RWD Corolla (he kept up pretty well)
WRX
Honda S2000
Turbocharged 240SX
Dodge Dart Swinger with rough idling cam and high lifted rear

My car was always quick, but once it became FAST I didn't race as much. There was no competition, and it wasn't as fun. :(
3" mandrel bent exhaust, Ported/Polished head, 1.89/1.57 valves, Gutted uppper/Knife edge lower intake, T3/T4, LA3, Big VAM, Cold air intake, 40bob header, Gillis valve, Forge BOV, Mustang SVO T5, Conquest intercooler, 20psi.

A WRX  ? damn. Even the "old" ones were like 0-60 in 5.5 or some crazy ass number and I believe the s2000 is something like that as well. Your xr must fly!! (or the guys behind the wheel didn't know what the hell they were doing!)
It's still a lot more fun when you just blow 'em away. Especially when the don't even see it comin' "oh what's this an escort....?" and then that's all they see is a biplane. If you are so equiped.

I like going after the big-buck cars. Yesterday, I was pushing a new 740i through a 270* freeway on-ramp-- at way too slow a speed-- then when it opened up, I passed him good. As I was going by, I made the "money" sign by rubbing my fingers together, then "blew it away." It's not like the car can't beat mine, it's more like I'm wondering why he bothered. He might as well have been driving a Camry, and in the depths of his pulchritude, probably was.

I hate it when I see nice, fast cars driven sloppily and lazily. What a waste! Sort of like youth being wasted on the young, so many nice cars are wasted on the rich. It's not like they have to race around wherever they go, just drive it like you have a clue, 'ya know?

I actually beat the WRX from a downshift... spanked it pretty bad, too. He would have beat me off the line. And yes, my XR flys. George Ross almost $#!* himself when he took my XR for a spin.

Yeah, here in WI all the nice BMW's and Audi's (I have no respect for mercedes) are driven by old gray haired ladies. It's like WTF! you have no appreciation for what your new 6 series can do. Stick their ass in a Kia Amante (with all the power crap) and let them on their way. I get so pissed everytime. It's simply a status symbol, if a KIA amante cost $75,000 you can't tell me that some old bag wouldn't be driving around in one with her dead husbands money thinking she was all hot $#!* while she tooled over to her tupperware party. I realize that it's these people who keep BMW and other great manufacturers afloat but son of a bitch!

The other day I saw a 70 year old woman driving an M5! an m5!!!!! one of the greatest cars BMW ever produced and she's driving to the nursing home to visit Gertrude!?!?! Why? for the love of god, why?

in my saab i raced a heavily modded WRX from a downshift. we pulled side by side for a sec, then he started to pull me hardcore... then a loud bang came from his car and it started sputtering, at which point i laughed and pulled away.....

pretty much the funniest thing ever. my car was the one that SHOULD have popped....

I raced a early 90's model Z28 in my 87XR the other day in town. It was from a stoplight. As soon as I pulled up I knew I would have too. He creeped up alittle and I did. As soon as the light turned green he floored it. He got a jump on me but by 2nd gear I was equal. I when to 3rd and beat him by 2 1/2 cars. I didnt get to crazy fast but I won  It is a good notch on the belt.

Speaking of racing, I also raced a 84 Gt Stang in my 86S10 with a 283sb. I got my ass kicked. I knew the guy in the stang and he has alot of money in it( 347 stroker, 750 double pumper, high rise intake, etc...) I will race him again when I get my 327 put in it :D The 283 only has around 270hp.

I'm curious as to what a BMW provides that we don't have access to. Granted, some BMWs were "born" in the states with a viscous coupling LSDs and none of ours were. We have viscous coupling available and Quaife diffs available. I doubt BMW has anything better than that available to them. If you have some knowledge I lack, please school a fella.

Yeah Spike! You got a BMW diff, Spike? Do ya, Spike? Huh, do ya? Do ya? Hey Spike? Do you have a BMW diff, Spike? Spike? Hey Spike?

Nah, AlexD, you're cool with me. Image
