No, I'M impressed, because I thought it had 93,000 miles when I bought it, and now you're telling me it was 193,000 miles! But of course, we know that Merkurs aren't reliable...
6-digit odometer = worst idea ever. Did they not expect them to live much past 100k or what??

Yeah man... When we had her, I wasn't even sure she still had much life left in her. good to know she did!! Hopefully she still does.

so I have a mostly stock xr(for now)...pics of my build in another thread sometime soon.
So i've been researching and i've decided to go for a AWIC setup due to its size performance and the ability to pipe ice water. so far im looking at a spearco perhaps or finding a old aaic and getting someone to jacket it, and tap water drain and feed lines. going with the spearco would probably be the easiest, but more expensive. but the homemade one has a higher probability of failure im assuming( ? some input on home made awics would be nice SVP). However, the homemade one, might end up being cheaper, but with less cost of shipping/customs as i can get it done within canada.At any rate. hte placement im thinking of is right by the batter tray after re routing the battry to the trunk, leaving a nice area to mount a pump and decently large awic slightly above and behind the turbo, with adequate heat shielding i should be able to get away with it with minimal heat soak. also, theres a hole in the firewall by the heatercore where the ac piping would have gone i suppose, I figure that when i decide to go for an icebox i can re route tubing through there no problem, less hassle, and less piping. im not gonna have money for this for another month or two, but measure twice cut once right? and when all else fails bring the ford wrench! any ideas? comments any help is appreciated
