Relating to Scorpio - how rare / common is Scorp Cosworth in your side of The Ocean??? I`m talking about this 24v 2,9 Boa -engined Scorpio up to `94... pre- or post-facelift (`92) model...
Of course they made the american style Scorpio Cosworth from `95 on with 24v 2,9 Bob -engine, too. How about that???
How about non-existant? They were never imported here.

Hej Jussi, yeah no complete cars oficially imported.
there are a number of the engines about 200km from where I am, seen them , and touched them.
And after 1989 we got no more Scorps of any sort and no more Sierras.

Hej Jussi, how common in Finland is ANY sort of 4x4 Sierra or Scorp?
4 x 4 Sierra is quite common among all Sierras here in Finland, especially when talking about Cossie -models. British named Sierra Saphire -bodied Sierra RS Cosworth 4 x 4 has the clear majority for example among my club colleagues`vehicles, when comparing with all Sierra Cossies here. Of course there is 2 litre all wheel drive non-Cossies too. Our country`s population is about 5 million people, and our club consists of some thousand members - they own some 150 - 200 4 x 4 Cossies, I think...
When it comes to Scorpio Cosworth, it is far more rare issue here too. Particularly these STW -models are absolutely the most limited, even without a 24V -badge. Somehow the wettest dream for me - for now - would be a 24v Scorpio STW with all wheel drive - they never were made by the factory. One colleague of mine has a STW Sierra fitted with 4 x 4 AND 24v -technics...
Have to say, the latest Scorpio BOB -Cosworth ( `95 onwards) is the most superior bastard to these older BOA -models - in every other aspect than the body style... I do not like that frog-eye style at all, nor the style of the tail part (lights etc.)...
... and of course the 16vee 2,9 Scorpio is relatively common, when thinking of the whole Scorp population here in Finland.
BTW - how about the pre-historic Sierra in 80`s with 1,3 litre engine... such Sierras were imported here in the first half of that decade - many of them were modified straight away to so called "Stockmann Turbos" by the importer... Boys, just those individuals were soooo desirable

How about personal cars of immigrants??? Seen any??? Every now and then we`ve got such cars here came from your side of the Ocean, like one traded Toyota-Celica-highly-unique-one at our region... And a couple of 2006 - 07 Mustangs, GT and Saleen, if I remember right from our track day last year...

I wouldnt say that m8 myself, in some respects the BOB is the weaker of the two engines.

Yes, that`s my opinion too, when it comes to those single chains of it. However, you can imagine boa the snake when dealing with that chain of BOA... once got them changed in my XR, finally only tensioner and couple of chain guides were weared out somehow, when some 180 000 kms behind them. Scorp has now about the same in its clock, having no odd noises yet whatsoever...
I think the most superior (or poorest, depending on the sight) part of BOB will be the electronics of the ECU and the system.
