That's photoworks. I did a handful of other parts, some not fit for public release and some I just plain can't find the .jpg file.

This is a rather large undertaking but I would be able to help too. I can help with surfacing too. I have done a lot of it.

I think making the models will be the easiest thing to do. It is getting accurate dimensions to make accurate models that will be the hard part. Getting the critical surfaces correct and bolt spacing correct will help immensely.

yes, start with the front suspension, including brake hardware. This would be great for figuring out whether different brake, wheel and tire combinations would fit, especially if you can get the surrounding bodywork. I'm thinking about doing my own front brake upgrade this winter with some AP Racing calipers , once I figure out if they'll fit inside my stock spatula wheels.

Unfortunately I got a notice from the park saying I need to remove my car immediately. So I won't be able to just mosy on over to it and get dimensions like I was planning on doing.

If anyone wants to post detailed pictures with pretty accurate critical dimensions and guestimates for other stuff, I will be happy to model them though.

Why duplicate effort?
Did you know there are specific made-for-Xratty bells already made just a phone call away for about what you'd pay for a bell for a stock car?

Depends on what you want but custom 1 1/4" x 11.3" discs are also available, and with these you will get full pad contact toward the center---which you WILL NOT FIND in an off the shelf disc anywhere.

Here's a comparison:

Cosworth, then JVAB Sooper Bitchin Brakes, then stock Xratty



Willwood Superlights, chosen to be dimensionally same piston area as what Ford Motorsport used on these cars, are a direct fit.


By mid Winter, an equally nice copy of what Ford used on the rear will be finished.

Maybe give a call, maybe work on something else that isn't so easy now.

Yes it is odd how the power of a pretty web site can be so seemingly alluring.

But you can get the discs and bells---nobody will ever know!!!
Even with your employee discounts, my stuff is probably half the cost.

As for AP calipers see if there's something with 2 x 1.5 and 2 x 1.62~~
or maybe 4 x 1.62. That will work fine with the bigger booster or with dual masters.

I'm sure you mean "single" as in "one man, by himself" but I've definitely learned that not "being single" can undoubtly slow progess on such a task. Since this thread started, the "910" suspension (below) got developed, which is hardly stock, but could be included in such a model.



BTW, we've got full models of the trucks we produce at work. This includes details all the way down to fasteners, like plastic zip ties. The models are ridiculous. Given the number of configurations of truck we make, this is no small feat. I've got a beast of a CAD work station and it can get bogged down.
