Definately sounds like a timing issue.

It was, timing before was about 10 Above, just good enough for it to idle, now with correct timing and (tight, somehow never tightened the plugs when they were first put in) and correctly gapped plugs, it runs like a champ.

Been awhile since I've updated. Here's how she sits as of last July. College is coming to an end, so I will have time to do more!

High on my to-do list is the put all the trim back on it and fix the god danged gas gauge. It's not the cluster that's messed up, I either have a messed up fuel sender or a short somewhere along the wire that sends the signal to the cluster. Also high on my list a merkurdepot rad/intercooler combo.
