Yep. That is it. It is like ~180 after shipping. Seems like a good unit, well built but hard to install if you have studs like me. I actually had to grind on the unit some.
I will build something to make it fit, you are right it would be better with a different header. This would be another thing I could potential make for people (when time becomes abundant). It will be a pie cut stainless short radius elbow semi fabricated from scratch.
Esteban wrote:Excellent progress Paul!!! Does your bypass valve route back to the intake? Or just aimed downwards? I'm sure you can make good use of that vbanded turbo outlet.
It is just aimed down because it was originally used as a recycle BOV when it ran on the stock ECU. Obviously it is on Megasquirt now.
I've always wanted to make a manifold but feel like this is easier.

Do you have the dimensions on that grill opening?
It is by far the best cutout one I have seen.
I don't have any on hand but next weekend I can try measuring it for you. I just kinda went with something. I like it as well, i tried matching what I thought the cosworth was.
No real updates with weekend, doing other things, spend a few minutes on this. Here is the down pipe. I started it and it wasn't really that bad just need to add a bit more heat wrap/shielding to keep the brake line from baking.
I assume the reasoning for the new turbo outlet / downpipe set and IC set up is for earlier boost ?
Is the existing the exhaust under the a car 3" to the back?
I'm really interested in your "seat of the pants" review on this for hopefully good spool reduction.

I am too. Should be interesting. Here is the downpipe awaiting heat wrap. It was pretty easy.
MercMike - Grill looks good. Maybe we can start a trend.
