Ok what is the La3 out of and is it just a computer and can you just plug it into your xr in place of our comps, just trying to figure out everything i need to know before i start any major projects on my car

The PE computer from an svo is a "plug and play" unit..the LA computers from the later turbo coupes arent..you have to do a little pin swapping, the info is all on the merkur encyclopedia...find there good stuff you will

The LA3 swap works great. You can put the ACT into your upper intake without drilling it. Just use one of the fittings,(PCV) already there and reroute what you take out. Here's the pin swap info:

I want to do the LA3 and big vam swap..but lately been too lazy to track em down

guess I'll get round to it one of these days...
