Custom Cylinder head - or flog that dead horse

Sorry to pick at a sore subject, but I've been watching the back-and-forth on a custom Lima 16V head for some time (and I lurk on the 2300-16V Yahoo forum). I have in mind a custom head for another project, and I am curious: was a consensus ever reached on exactly how much a custom engine head (assuming an inline engine, OHC of some variety) costs?

If you have to ask...


It's going to depend a lot on the architecture of the head. How many processes is it going to take? What resources do you have? etc...
