Ebay Vendor-Vintage Auto Literature

Post by salukixr4ti »

I would caution buyers on this seller. My most recent purchase of several items was a dismal failure. After several weeks of very spotty correspondence stemming from an "issue with their vendor" one of several items was refunded. The remaining items never shipped, and I was unable to get a response for tracking or status. I'm pretty disappointed, particularly after having bought from them before.

What materials are you trying to order?
I've got quite a bit of dealer stuff and other items Merkur related, maybe it's what you are after.
What is the eBay seller user name or storefront?

I purchased from the excellent seller (productioncars) a Merkur sales brochure. It arrived in perfect shape. Can't say enough about how well it was packed and shipped.

Quick update---
I was saddened to hear apparently the owner of this Ebay store had passed away several weeks ago, and there were issues figuring out what needed to happen with previous sales. I am optimistic the new party will get everything handled on their behalf. If anything changes good or bad, I will update accordingly. I will be happy to complete the transactions after 2+ months, and hope to continue doing business with them.

Still nothing from Vintage Auto Literature... They are not even responding at this point. I will be leaving negative feedback. Looks like I'm out the money. Would have preferred the parts. Pretty silly on their part, and they still have active listings. Beware!
