Brief Cloudflare Message When Accessing Forum

Post by DPDISXR4Ti »

You probably notice the brief Cloudflare message you get when first logging into the forum. Just wanted you to know it is correct and there are no issues on your end. It's just the latest step we've taken to fend off the bot attacks that are so prolific lately.

Carry on....

I've been blocked out of forum by cloud-flamer for awhile. Not just on this site. Sonic electronics, crutchfield, and here. I used to go on crutchfield a lot and check out amp specs on older discontinued items, and they must think I am scraping the dumb site for info. When I did a google search for getting past cloudtant it returned many results. Most blocked by cloudbarf. After doing many things I now can go to sonix but not crutchfield or this site. I got here on an older machine I don't use anymore. Same IP. No botnet junk here behind hardware firewall, no vpn, no anything. A shame, since I used to buy stuff from those sites, as well as woofers etc, half price car audio, and others. I also checked to see if the IP was on any list, no. Even major sites like ebay have sections that don't return. Man I am glad I don't require a work at home job using this worthless junk. Things were more efficient using a dial up connection in the 90's.

I'm sorry you're having problems with CloudFlare. Unfortunately, without it, bots pretty much crippled the site. We were getting literally millions of hit a day on the forum.

I don't know if I'll be able to find anything in the logs or not, but if you'll send me a PM with your IP, I'll see what I can turn up.
