I'd wager it would look pretty good :)

Total cost is in the neighborhood of $30 for paint, prepwork a few hours, and voila. Just if you do this do the tint stages in LIGHT coats. It's much "thinner" than paint and runs really, really easily.

Now, i'm tempted to make myself an underbody tray type thingie from the front axle forward... We'll see.

Ray, do you still have the TFI with the Megasquirt or did you convert to EDIS?

My friend going for a fun run with me

Day two (points event) started in the rain. I'm learning that i like rain. But, the course dried up in the last couple runs for some, and the last run for others... and the times dropped by 6-7 seconds for each person.

My first run i, slightly overconfident, hit maybe a little bit of standing water, or maybe just came into the corner hot, but i spun off into the grass. Go me. Embarassing moment.

I've been fed up with the turbo oil drain for a while now.

Stock - i hated the two bolt flange. Took me longer to get those bolts in than anything.

Switched to the Stinger drain. Sized too small (stinger fixed this later on) and resulted in me rebuilding my turbo, only to find that the drain itself was causing too much pressure in the turbo.

So i figured, if -10AN is good, then -12AN must be better, right? I mean, there is no kill like overkill.

Well, this is true - however, the fittings .... wont fit with the drain in the stock location. So i had my drain come down, loop around, then back up and in, hardly optimal but i wanted to get thru the racing season without having to drop my oil pan.

Unfortunately, i'm also and idiot and put the stupid stainless braided line a bit too close to my newly relocated alternator, which decided it was a good idea to short on the hot lead on the alt. This resulted in an oil leak...

... and prompted me to properly route this line. So, i dropped the oil pan, cleaned it up, TIG'd on a steel 1/2" npt bung, plugged the stock drain location in the block, and... this better fricking work.

Top to bottom - stock, stinger, mine.

And installed ... looking up.
